• NAND Flash can be updated into 1GB and SDRAM can be updated into 128MB immediately according to the customer requirement. • Samsung ARM9 S3C2440A ARM920T MCU, up to 400MHz • 6-layer PCB turmeric craftwork • Dimensions: 37mm¡¿74mm • Supporting Cramfs/ramfs/etx2/fat32/nfs/yaffs • System parameters can be saved in REGEDIT, and residual Flash can be read and written • Supporting Windows CE 5.0/6.0 and Linux 2.6.25/30 • LCD, AD, SPI, UART, USB, SD/MMC, Ethernet, IIS, I2C, RTC, PWM, GPIO, Local bus and all I/O CPU lines can be extended via board-to-board connectors.
The MINI2440 is an ARM9-based, small form factor, OEMable module populated with the S3C2440A.Rich peripherals such as USB, Ethernet, and integrated LCD controller make this module the ideal candidate for embedded applications requiring high performance and low power consumption. The on-board MMU supports major operating systems, including Linux and Windows Embedded CE. Other chip-level features include 3 UARTs, SPI, I2C, a real-time clock with a separate power domain, and NAND Flash and DDR memory controllers. These features make the devices particularly suitable for automotive and industrial control applications as well as medical systems.
The MINI2440 SOM is designed to plug into a Boardcon Carrier Board that provides the I/O connectors as well as any other interface circuitry not provided on the core module itself. The core module, combined with the Boardcon Carrier Board, provides a platform to jump start embedded designs and propel concept to prototype and finished product.
All controller signals and ports extend from the controller to high-density pitch aligning four sides of the board, allowing it to be plugged like a "big chip" into a target application
MINI2440 processor card has four dip connectors to connect to your application. Detailed pin explanation is as following:
